God invented Glam :)...

Last night I attended Potential Churches VIVA 2011 Christian women's conference. IT WAS AMAZING. I've been to several of these types of conferences in my life and this one definitely makes my list of all time faves ;) While the overall messages from the guest speakers were of course life changing, what resonated with me most was one simple line: "I believe God Invented Glam...and I LOVE it!!!" WOW :) What was so special about this was not so much the sentence itself but the atmosphere that it was spoken into. From the MTV video music awards-like decorated stage, to the phenomenally dressed and strikingly beautiful woman who  said it, this moment truly was GLAM...and no doubt invented by God. That solidified it for me! God didn't only invent glam but he invented US to be glam. Here it is straight  up and real: own your glam, own your fashion, own your beauty, own your SEXY! It's all God given :)

Day 1 of Forever...

Soooooo...Hello everyone and anyone out there. Today October 18th, 2011 at 12:59pm I am writing my first of many blogs to my future readers. Just to give you an idea of who I am and my life...I am at my job, sitting at the computer wanting to scream my head off. Ummmmmmm scratch that, more like wanting to punch someone in the face! (sigh) Like many of you, I am not at the job of my dreams, I am super frustrated with those around me and I am day dreaming of an AMAZING life that I know is coming. That may be the key difference between you and I and honestly, my inspiration for writing this blog. I have discovered the path to awesomeness and although I may not be living every aspect of it right now, I am certainly on my way to experiencing a full blown LIFE-GASM :) Through this blog I hope to share my past (which is a very interesting and crazy one), invite you to join in my current and future adventures (which will be very interesting and crazy ones) and inspire you to live your dreams. I also hope to help you deal with the everyday pressures and drama we ladies face in a positive and enlightening way. Long story short, after believing forever that life could only be cruel, I have now found peace, joy and beauty in the world. I want to share this. This is my way of packaging this gift given to me and sharing it with the world. This is my version of Sex and City. ALL the fabulous-ness of that with REAL LIFE mixed in the middle. Trust me when I say, I AM YOU. I listen to the music you do, party at the same places you love and date the men that make you want to gag sometimes :)
